Find amazing private campsites, from as little as $10.

Don’t waste time and money buying all the bits and pieces for your first camping trip. First of all, you might not like it and never go again. Second, of all, you might already have it. Check around the house or ask your friends.  Start off simple and build.

To start your camping adventure, you only need three things.

  1. Tent: do your research.
    • Ask yourself four questions
      1. How many people does it need to sleep?
      2. How much room do I have for it in the car?
      3. Do I need to carry it far (lightweight) or can I park the car next to the campsite
      4. Is it rainproof and windproof
  2. Mattress: Do you go for the small compact air mattress or the larger self-inflatable foam mattress
    1. The air mattress takes up less room but is not as warm in the cold weather.
    2. The foam mattress varies in thickness and doesn’t dis-inflate. So you’ll never wake up on the ground.
  3. Gas stove

The other things you should find around the house; e.g., pillows, doonas, plates, pots etc

Many people enjoy the busy caravan parks for their family getaways. We love privacy and space.

Youcamp is my new favorite booking place.

My top 2 locations so far are:

  1. Numinbah Valley

Today it was just us, the ? ? and the creek! #visitgoldcoast
