Every Friday when Courtney has a day off, the kids ask or should I say beg for him to take them on a new and exciting adventure. Usually to a place that he has ridden past when training.
Twin Falls was perfect, better than Purling Brook Falls. The walking trails were ideal for a little munchkin like Leo. Both kids were super excited by the natural rock formations, caves, creeks, waterfalls, and lizards! They didn’t whine once, which is a miracle in my family!
The walk to the main waterfall is about 4km and it took about 1.5 hours.
Start the walk with a packed lunch, or a BBQ at the park located at the entrance to the trails.
A very small part of the 4km walk had some narrow paths but nothing that I would call sheer cliffs.
Blue Tongue Lizard
Let’s just say there was only one family member brave enough to jump into the FREEZING water. Leo gave it a go but lasted less than 2 seconds.
Second, smaller waterfall.
A bit of fun with the charcoal from the wood fire BBQ.
Parking available along the road.
