We love to travel but most of all we love a hot, sandy destination. Our kids love the water. I’m sure Chloee was a mermaid in another life, and perhaps that explains her obsession with the Barbie Mermaid Tale Movie. Leo; well I’m sure I can see gills behind his ears.
The pool definitely takes preference over the ocean and is a must at our resort. The kids are still building their saltwater tolerance, wanting to wear goggles in the ocean! The Westin Hotel at Nusa Dua, in Bali, offers everything we like in our Island Escape.
Beautiful pool, amazing buffet breakfast, beach and plenty of other neighbouring resorts offering alternatives to restaurants and bars.
The hair braids were a must on our first day. Little Chloee was so brave and committed to fashion; set at the beach with tears in her eyes as three women worked their magic on her long, thick hair.
Two pools; one shallow with a slide for the kiddies, the other with a pool bar and beach views.
Low tide was another attraction. Creatures of the sea come out and play!
A hidden cave only exposed at low tide.
Stand Up Board hire available at the front of hotel. Not as cheap as I expected. But everything in Nusa Dua comes at a slightly higher premium. Although we don’t mind, as we love the quiet, hassle free location.
