Our family’s favourite top 5 places to eat in Queenstown, New Zealand. Here are some kids friendly Queenstown restaurants and coffee shops.
VUDU CAFE AND LARDER
Vudu Cafe and Larder is a little but very popular café in the center of Queenstown next to the lake. Despite being a little cramped with a few small tables and benches it makes up with its fresh selection of both deli and café healthy meals. Great place for breakfast and coffee.
THE BATHHOUSE CAFE
A little coffee shop/restaurant next to a great kids playground and Queenstown Lake. I haven’t had the pleasure of eating there, as the kids don’t want to leave the playground, but I have had plenty of take away coffees and hot chocolates.
THE COW RESTAURANT
A beautiful cozy little pizza restaurant. Tiny little place with a warm fireplace and wooden cabin feel. The best garlic bread in Queenstown and a fantastic pizza selection! The kids love it.
PATAGONIA CHOCOLATES QUEENSTOWN
Best dessert place in Queenstown. Famous for their amazing caramel filled churros and soul-warming hot chocolates! A generous ice-cream selection also available.
KAPPA JAPANESE RESTAURANT
I feel like kids and sushi always go hand in hand. The little restaurant Kappa offers a variety of meals from hot udon soup to sushi rolls.
